Please read and understand our Terms & Conditions before opening your account. By opening an account you are agreeing to abide by the terms of the agreement stated below.

  1. You may not use the Whambanners exchange to advertise any site that contains nudity or partial nudity. Sexually suggestive material, be it audio, visual or written is not permitted. Sites containing hate material, potentially damaging information or illegal activities are also forbidden. Gambling sites and any other sites deemed likely to shock, mislead or generally offend are also not permitted.
  2. Members may not artificially inflate traffic counts to their site using any device, program, robot, repeated page refreshing, or any other means. A banner cannot be placed on a page that reloads automatically. The banner code may not be placed in newsgroups, e-mail, chatrooms or guestbooks. Anyone caught artificially inflating traffic counts, or who we have strong evidence to suggest such, may have their account terminated immediately and without refund of account credit. Our decision in these matters is final.
  3. We reserve the right to reject any banner that by its own content, or the content of the site it leads to, compromises the standards outlined in this agreement.
  4. Members agree to insert the provided whambanners code for displaying banners on their Web site at all times. The inserted code may not be modified in any way without written permission.
  5. The whambanners exchange code may only be placed once on each webpage. Iframes count as being part of the visible webpage.
  6. The code must be placed so that banners must be displayed on the page in such a way as to be easily visible. Banners that are hidden, obscured, or where the visitor has no way to view a banner is unnacceptable under the terms of this agreement.
  7. We ask that the banner code is displayed reasonably on the the webpage. We do not set any hard rules about this, but if we deem that our code is being placed to far down a page to be practical, we reserve the right to politely request it is moved up to the main area of the page. Placing code well below the rest of the page so that unusual amounts of scrolling have to be undertaken, may lead us to conclude that you are trying to obtain impressions without genuine participation in the exchange. This may result in us terminating your account.
  8. Members may not display their banner code on sites other than the one to which the account was assigned on generating the banner code.
  9. Banner that appears on your site may be from any other exhange member, a paying advertiser or from whambanners.
